Shaping the Future Day 2024

«Are We Ready for Tomorrow?»
Let us explore what the world could look like in ten years.

Tuesday, 1 October 2024

9:00 a.m. to approx. 23:00 p.m. at Trafo Baden

Dear Key People Community

We are happy to invite you to this year's Shaping the Future Day in October! Last year, we delved into the rapid transformations around us and their profound impact on our business and leadership.

We expect these changes to accelerate and grow even more complex. So, what lies ahead for us? How will an increasingly unpredictable future shape the lives of our customers and redefine our business landscape?

We are thrilled to have Daria Krivonos, CEO of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies (CIFS), deliver a riveting keynote on megatrends, uncertainties, and global dynamics. Following this, we will discuss future scenarios with the method of "applied strategic foresight" and explore their implications for Swiss Life.

Join us at the Trafo-Building in Baden near Zurich for an inspiring day of meaningful discussions and forward-thinking exploration. Together, let us unlock the possibilities of what the future holds!

We cannot wait to see you there!

Trafo Baden - Location StFD 2024

The “Trafo” building was originally a high-voltage laboratory for Brown Boveri & Cie., and electric transformers have been built since 1920.

The industrial halls 36, 37 and 38 are the last remaining witnesses to the flourishing industrial history of Brown Boveri & Cie. They date back to the period of industrial development between 1910 and 1930 and represent the modern industrial buildings of the time in terms of architectural history. In Hall 37, electrical transformers were assembled until the 1970s.

The evening event will be held in the same complex, in the “Trafohalle”. hall is the former high-voltage laboratory of the BBC/ABB and was built in 1942 as an addition to the transformer factory. This is the venue where we are having our graduation ceremony and the dinner.
